The Gram Amp 2 Communicator phono preamp is a fourth generation product and a definitive upgrade for the much applauded Gram Amp 1 preamp. The new Gram Amp 2 Communicator has been styled with definate perpose in mind. Its new case is The case has been slimmed so that it'll fit [rotated 90 degrees] a Eurocard case [sub-rack "crate"], taking up only 9HE width.

A special front panel is included with every unit to adapt it to sub-rack use and the nylon screws and spacers "ground-lift" the case to prevent "hum-loops" without compromising the grounding of the circuit and the excellent EMC shielding properties. Whether it's used professionally or not, the front panel sets it off with an impressive professional appearance.

Higher-level dynamic performance and superior timing, timbre and detail resolution provide seamless tonal balance for a musical feast of shimmering highs, fluid midriffs and deepest bass.

For total immersion (in the music) an optional upgrade to the PSU1 power supply unit is available.

OUR COMMENTS: The Gram Amp 2 Communicator phono preamp requires a burn in period of at least 7 days from new to achieve its best performance. Replacement UK wall plug power supply units are available to order.
