Technically, the Skibo Centre offers class-leading performance. The drive units are time-aligned, for transient attack and dynamic clarity. The high frequency unit uses an advanced faceplate design, ensuring a distortion free crossover and tonally even treble.
A Poor midrange can sabotage a good system but the Skibo offers none of the boxy hollow characteristics that so many centre channels do. Voices are articulate, rich in texture and natural without any hint of artificiality. Dense scenes are allowed to unfold with a clear and convincing separation of vocals, music and effects. Not to mention the clean lines and the magnetically attached grill.
