Our comments: The Sony VPL-VW60 along with the VPL-VW200 are the latest additions to the Sony projector line up and offer major improvements over the outgoing models. The VPLVW60 produces detailed clear images with standard definition material such as Freeview television with deep blacks and an involving image. Where the projector really excels and starts outclasses the completion is with high definition material, feed a 24 fps ( frames per second ) Blu ray signal to the VPL-VW60 and images take on a new level of depth with no image judder and stunning clarity. The Sony VPL VW60 is on permanent demonstration in our Edinburgh showroom and raises the standard at this price significantly with the next step up in performance coming from the more expensive Projection Design M25 and JVC HD100.
