Our comments: Now that 1080P has become the defacto for quality home cinema viewing, it is good to see that companies like Sanyo are able to offer this resolution at such an attractive price. Obviously, the ability to output high definition is an important feature, but a projectors performance should not be judged solely on this. The Sanyo in particular, has a relatively high contrast level, virtually silent fan noise, a long 2.0x zoom lens and is finished with a white case so that it can blend in with a white ceiling.
Given its price point, we reckon that the Sanyo offers a great deal.
