Harmon Kardon

Harman Kardon produced its first product in 1953. Since then they have been at the cutting edge of development in the field of sound and vision. It is a company that is still under the direction of its owner more than 50 years after it was founded, Dr Sidney Harman. This is quite rare in the plethora of multi-national electronics corporations. A single minded direction gives them a very unique development path which is very responsive to consumer tastes and demands. Harman Kardon recently took part in the 2006 IFA electronics show in Berlin, where they easily had the largest and most impressive hall which was about the size of two football pitches! This really showed their intent to continue to be one of the powerhouses of electronic design and development. Current products such as the Digital Lounge and the HS200 show a real understanding of what the modern electronics consumer demands and more importantly how they wish to use their systems. A selection of Harman Kardon’s extensive product range is currently on display and available for purchace in our shop
