Description: The BDP-440 combines 3D playback with advanced networking features, superior audio performance, control with iPad/iPod/iPhone, Quick Response and support for SACD and DVD-Audio. Enjoy DVDs, too – the BDP-440 will upconvert DVD video to near HD-quality. From CD, USB and through LAN you can play popular compressed media formats such as MP3 and DivX Plus HD.

Go Wireless: Via LAN (optional WiFi converter available), you get access to network features such as BD-Live, watching YouTube, and playback from a PC or network media server (connected to the same LAN and featuring multimedia content server functionality). You can also control the player with the Pioneer iControlAV2 app.

What is PQLS? PQLS ensures jitterless transmission of uncompressed 2-channel or multi-channel LPCM, and also bitstream audio over HDMI to compatible Pioneer AV receivers.
