Marantz now in store:
We have recently taken on the Hi-Fi and Home Cinema range of products from Marantz. With an award winning range of products from learning remote controls through CD player and amplifiers to flagship products such as the glorious SA-7S1 CD player Marantz have a long history in building superb Hi-Fi products. Likewise in the audio visual market Marantz have excelled with their DVD players and the latest range of AV amplifiers are firing on all cylinders offering high quality sound with all the features required of today's leading products. We are keenly awaiting the arrival of the all new processor and power combination - the AV8003 and MM8003 - as another high end cinema product to squeeze every available detail from your movies and music. The Marantz AV8003 / MM8003 pairing will be fighting it out against the Yamaha DSP-Z11 and the Pioneer SC-LX90.

Coming soon Pioneer SC-LX90 flagship AV Receiver:
Pioneer will shortly launch their best performing AV receiver to date. The SC-LX90 is essentially a processor and power amplifier in one box. With enough power to drive the largest of loudspeakers, full video processing and HD Audio processing the SC-LX90 is a exceptionally well specified piece of equipment. When the SC-LX90 is in store we will be able to compare it with the Yamaha DSP-Z11 - the obvious competition - and see if it excels to the same degree.

The first major deliveries of the new Onkyo AV receivers have arrived in store. The TX-SR606 replaces the outgoing TXSR605 and now offers four HDMI inputs as well as video upscaling and full HD Audio processing for a remarkable £399. This brilliant amplifier is perfect desktop amplifier. With a USB input as well as standard analogue and 3.5mm inputs you can easily connect the Icon up to your PC or streaming device such as the Squeezebox Duet or Sonos. 12w of power easily drives a set of decent sized speakers to relatively loud volumes. This amplifier is by no means a gimmick, the sound quality is clear and accurate as you would expect from Nu-Force and build quality is high aswell. A real bargain at £175.

Lyngdorf:
We are now stockists for the Lyngdorf range of Hi-Fi products and have the CD-1 CD player and TDA12200 integrated amplifier with Room Perfect acoustic calibration on demonstration. The Room Perfect processing can be purchased as a stand alone unit to add in to your existing Hi-Fi system or as part of the amplifier. Which ever way you choose your room plays the biggest part in manipulating the sound that you hear from your hi-fi and the Room Perfect processing does an excellent job overcoming that obstacle.
Projection Design:
After a very long wait we have had the opportunity to fully evaluate the Projection Design M25 and now eagerly await the launch of the full production model the Spectra. The M25 delivers an amazing picture with perfect motion, highly accurate colour reproduction and stunning levels of depth and accuracy for a projector of this size and price. The Spectra improves on each of these strengths again and is set to give the JVC HD100 a run for its money. This year Projection Design have clearly separated their Home Cinema projectors from the business models that they produce under the new heading of Avielo. Each projector within the Avielo range benefits from the best purpose made lenses that Projection design produce - the top 5% are included to ensure the very best picture. The Spectra is due to arrive in early June and the Optix ( replacing the Model 3) should follow shortly after that.
Pioneer Plasma Televisions:
The stunning new range of Pioneer plasma televisions will be on demonstration shortly. The PDP-428XD has now been discontinued and there will be no replacement this year but we will see a new 42" model next year. The PDP-608XD has also finished but the new PDP-LX6090 will be here in early June. The PDP-LX508D is discontinued with the new PDP-LX5090 due around the same time as the PDPLX6090. New Yamaha Amplifiers:
We have now started to receive the all new home cinema amplifiers and receivers from Yamaha. Improving on the outgoing range the DSP-AX763 and DSP-AX863se add Dolby True HD and DTS Master Audio decoding along with the excellent sound and build quality we expect from all Yamaha products. With stunning reliability and the best stereo performance in their class the new Yamaha amplifiers are highly recommended.

Dali Loudspeakers:
We are now a stockist for Dali loudspeakers and have the all new Motif surround sound speaker pack on demonstration. In addition to the Motif we also have the amazing Helicon 400 Mk2 and Ikon 7.1 cinema speakers on display and for those looking for discrete speakers with excellent sound we also have the Helicon Phantom and Ikon Phantom speakers in store. These speakers can go in your wall or on your wall with the addition of the Dali Phrame and really do offer Hi-fi sound from a very discrete cabinet.
New Panasonic Viera Television:
We have started to take delivery of the the first of the new range of LCD and Plasma televisions from Panasonic. The TH42PZ85 is Panasonics first 1080P plasma television in the range to arrive - the ultra slim top of the range TH-PZ800 will follow later in the year - and this model has a greatly increased contrast ratio compared to the outgoing model. With a 30000:1 contrast ratio the black levels from the new Panasonic TVs are very high allowing you to see every detail even in the darkest of scenes rather than a wash of black that is so common on lesser screens. We also have the 37" 1080p LCD the TX-37LZD80 as well as the 32" 1080P LCD the TX-32LZD80, both of which offer a host of facilities to deliver excellent images. With the forthcoming Bluray player, the DMP-BD30EG, and improvements across the DVD recorder and home cinema range Panasonic have very strong line up of products.
VITA R4:
Coming soon the new music system from Vita, the stunning R4. Similar to the Bose waveradio in size but with a far better sound and set of facilities including DAB radio the R4 is in ours minds the best all in one small sound system available.
