This unit comes with a stereo microphone, which in the initial set up of the amp, you would place at your preferred listening position. Switch on the unit and let the system calibrate itself for the type of speakers which you have connected and for the type of room which you are in. The calibration will take account of the location of the speakers in relation to your listening position.
