Panasonic Blu-ray recorders now in store.
The first ever Blu-ray recorders have been released . Available with two different sizes of hard drive the Panasonic DMR-BS850 has 500gb of storage while the DMR-BS750 has 250gb. Both Bluray recorders feature freesat tuners, SD memory card slots and USB inputs. Performance wise both machines deliver crisp and clear mages from all of the internal tuners and bluray playback is exceptionally strong and except for the storage capacity the DMRBS850 and DMRBS750 are identical.
Harman Kardon now in stock.
The latest hi-fi and Home Cinema products from Harman Kardon are now on display and in stock including the AVR255 and matching Bluray player the BDP10. On the stereo side we have the superbly built HK990 amplifier with partnering HD990 CD player.

Marantz SA-KI Pearl now in store:
The long awaited Pearl SACD player has now arrived and it has been worth the wait! Strictly limited in numbers the SA-KI delivers all that was promised, the superb build quality is matched a first class sound.
Yamaha RXV565 now in stock:
The first in the new range of Yamaha receivers has started to arrive. The all important sound quality is on a par with the outgoing DSP-AX763 and the RXV-565 offers a more impressive feature count.
Pioneer Kuro plasma television:
Stock is fast running out on the current range of Pioneer Kuro plasma televisions. The KRP-500M and KRP-600M are now finished as are the KRL-32v and KRL-37V. We have less than a dozen KRP-500a left and expect our stock of the KRP-600a to finish by mid June.
Marantz KI Pearl Coming Soon:
Built by Marantz's brand ambassador Ken Ishiwata to mark his 30 years with the company, the Pearl series features an SACD player, the SA-KI Pearl and integrated amplifier, the PM-KI Pearl. Both come in 'bullet-proof', vibration-damped casings with a new 'silk black' finish.
The SA-KI Pearl SACD player features an SACD-M10 drive mechanism with a Xyron loader and Cirrus Logic CS4398 digital-to-analogue converter, as well as selectable digital filtering and an optical digital input for connecting alternative sources through the DAC. It uses the latest HDAM-SA and HDAM-SA2 versions of Marantz's Hyper-Dynamic Amplifier Modules and an encapsulated transformer, with the usual KI copper-plated casing augmented with an extra damping plate and 5mm aluminium top cover. As well as SACD and CD it will play back discs loaded with MP3 and WMA files.
The matching PM-KI Pearl amp features similar casework and offers 90 watts into eight ohms or 140 watts into four ohms. It features a fully discrete two-stage power amp, HDAM-SA3 and HDAM-SA2 modules, toroidal transformer, constant current feedback phono equaliser (MM and MC), a direct input buffer circuit for CD and a power amp input.
Ken Ishiwata's long-running signature series of products has won plaudits aplenty and he reckons this pair is his best yet. Each will be available in a limited edition of 500 models only. You'll need to get in quick if they take your fancy, but they'll set you back £2,500 each.

In May 1999 PMC launched the legendary FB1 which made consumers and retailers re-evaluate what could be achieved from an elegant floor standing loudspeaker. Ten years on and they are about to cause an even greater stir across the audio world with the launch of the phenomenal fact® series of loudspeakers. The first will be in the form of this model, the fact®·8 floorstander which will be at the vanguard of this new premium range. It made its international debut at this year’s High End Show in Munich, Germany, held on the 21st – 24th May 2009.

New Yamaha products announced.
Following on from the massive success of the DSP-AX763 and the DSP-AX863se Yamaha have announced the start of the new season line up. The RXV-565 will be available towards the start of May and features four HDMI inputs and 1080p video up scaling. Following on in June we will see the RXV-765 and RXV-1065. The RXV-565 will be with us first and is available to order now.
