Marantz and the What Hi-Fi Awards 2009
Marantz is proud to announce it was again a multi-award winner at the prestigious What Hi-Fi Sound and Vision Awards. For an incredible third year running Marantz won a brace of Best Amplifier and Best CD Player awards. This year it was the turn of the 6003 stereo series to dominate their respective categories, picking up where the two times winning 6002 two channel pair left off, with the CD6003 claiming Best CD Player up to £500 and the PM6003 claiming Best Stereo Amplifier up to £500.

The IB2i wins PRODUCT OF THE YEAR 2009 at this years HiFi Choice Awards.
After the superb review of the IB2i in HiFi Choice’s October edition PMC can proudly announce they have received the highest accolade of ‘Product of the year’ at yesterday’s highly prestigious Hifi Choice awards - A star spangled event with all major manufacturers and leading reviewers attending.
The awards for the IB2i didn’t stop there! It received a further seal of approval by winning the ‘Best Loudspeaker over £1000.00 category, beating all rivals by a country mile.

New JVC Cinema Projectors
JVC have launched a new range of high quality home cinema projectors. The new DLA-HD550 and DLA-HD950 replace last years HD350 and HD750 respectively. Additionally there is an all new projector, the top of the range JVC DLA-HD990. The HD550 and HD950 are both available now and are on permanent demonstration in our Edinburgh showroom. The DLA-HD990 will follow later this year. With a host of new features the latest round of projectors from JVC raise the bar once more and will fight it out with the best on offer from Sony ( VPL-VW85 ) and Sim2 ( D80e).

New Sony Projectors:
Sony have announced replacements to the VPL-HW10 and VPL-VW80. The new VPL-HW15 and VPL-VW85 are due to be released in October and improve on the excellent outgoing models. The VPL-VW80 was a direct rival to the JVC – HD750 and we expect the VPL-VW85 to once again compete with the new JVC DLA-HD950 when it is released. Similarly the VPL-HW10 battled with the Panasonic PT-AE3000 and we will see the Sony VPL-HW15 and Panasonic PT-AE4000 fight it out again.
